
Janelle R. Baker is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) with over two decades of clinical experience, practicing since 2001. In 2018, she expanded her scope as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), deepening her commitment to comprehensive, compassionate care across the lifespan. Ms. Baker is passionate about meeting patients where they are and creating safe, affirming spaces for healing and recovery.
She is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider and has extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex psychiatric conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and opioid use disorder. Her clinical work is rooted in culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, with a strong focus on serving veterans, racial and ethnic minorities (particularly Black and Latino communities), older adults, and LGBTQIA+ populations, including transgender individuals.
Through patient-centered care, Ms. Baker is dedicated to reducing stigma, improving access to mental health services, and empowering patients toward long-term wellness.
